Illustration Futures Final (with thoughts)

 

well i thought i’d better put these up if my college tutors have been looking for this sorry it’s a bit late have had some problems with my computer

anyway lets get down to buisness, the illustration futures project i felt has really tested my capabilities of what i can do as an illustrator as before i did this project i had never really used Photoshop for digital painting; Although i found the experience to be highly stressfull and more trouble than it’s worth the end result i believe is exceptional for a first attempt.

Out of the two images the one that i believe is the stronger image is the clown image as to me it gives the essence of an vintage circus poster whilst also, having a contemporary appeal in terms of some of the elements of the image such as the teacups as they are photographs which have been placed within the image.

What i think would have improved the work is if i have, had extra support in learning on how to use photoshop which i feel i should have sourced myself this would have dramatically improved the quality of the image.
